” My 4th grade teacher told kids parents that their child was autistic if they simply didn’t listen or do well in school “

” Our child attended Bond Academy from Kindergarten through Grade 8, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The school truly excels in providing personal attention to each student, ensuring they reach their full potential academically and personally. The high academic standards are complemented by a wide range of extracurricular activities helping to create well-rounded students. What stands out most for us was always the warm, welcoming environment—it felt like a home away from home, where the children were valued and supported. We highly recommend Bond Academy for its dedication from the Principal through to the Teachers who we felt nurtured our child’s both academic and personal growth. “

” Our family had a horrible experience during our time at Bond. Concerns were raised with top level administration (owner & principal) and while there was hope for open communication and resolution (over the course of 2 years), those individuals proved to be cowards in their conduct. There are better private schools in Toronto and I do not recommend this one based on our experience. “

” In response to the negative review about the Coach which was submitted to the Bond Academy Administration by an anonymous user, I feel compelled to share a different perspective. It’s unfortunate that some individuals choose to hide behind the anonymity of the internet to express their dissatisfaction. As a proud mother of a female basketball player who attended and graduated from Bond Academy, I can’t speak highly enough of her Coach. His coaching skills are nothing short of amazing. Under his guidance, my daughter not only improved her basketball abilities but also gained valuable life skills. Bond Academy’s education, combined with her Coach’s training, opened doors for her and paved the way for the opportunities she now enjoys. Both the Coaching staffs and the Bond Administrations deserve commendation. My daughter always felt welcomed and appreciated at Bond Academy. Her Coach consistently maintained professionalism and ensured the safety and well-being of all the students. I appreciate that he never left a child unattended without proper supervision or was ever inappropriate in any capacities. In summary, the Coach’s positive impact on our daughter’s lives extends beyond the court. Let’s celebrate the dedication and care he provides to the student athletes at Bond Academy! 🏀👏 An advice someone once told me “Not every Coach is for every player and not every player is for every Coach” “

” Dear Bond Academy Administration, I am writing to express my grave concerns regarding the behavior and character of Coach P, who is currently coaching the basketball program at Bond Academy. Over the course of the season, Coach P has exhibited behavior that is not only inappropriate but also potentially harmful to the young athletes under his supervision. Specifically, Coach P has been observed belittling the girls and making obscene passes at several of them. During a trip to Washington, he was caught knocking on one of the players’ doors late at night, asking to come in or inviting the player to his room. He has also offered rides and shopping trips to certain girls, which raises serious concerns about his intentions. Furthermore, Coach P left the girls at the airport in Washington without adult supervision by taking an earlier flight, which is a clear breach of his responsibilities. Additionally, he has been seen making inappropriate passes at his assistant coach in front of the players, creating a hostile and unsafe environment. Given these serious allegations, I urge Bond Academy to conduct a thorough review of Coach P’s conduct and character. It is imperative that OSBA launches an investigation into these claims to protect the current and future students from potential harm. Moreover, it is crucial that OSBA implements more rigorous sensitivity training for coaches to ensure they treat players with the utmost respect and protect them from any form of predatory behavior. Coach P’s actions are reprehensible, and he should not be allowed to continue coaching or being around minors. Due to these concerns, we will not be sending our child back to Bond Academy if Coach P remains in his position. I strongly suggest other parents consider this information when making decisions about their children’s safety and education. It is disheartening to note that this is not the first time Bond Academy has faced similar issues with a staff member. Coach P’s behavior indicates a pattern that needs immediate attention and action. I trust that Bond Academy will take the necessary steps to address this matter promptly and effectively. Our children’s safety and well-being must be the top priority “
